There are so many different versions and flavors of pizza naan that I’ve made over the years. However, tandoori chicken was the first one I made about 10 years ago- always with extra cilantro around here. We haven’t stopped since.
The chicken is seasoned in a tandoori chicken style marinade. The sauce is a delicious jalapeño chutney and topped with tons of fresh cilantro. You won’t be able to get enough of this one. A true friends and family favorite.

WHO THIS RECIPE IS GOOD FOR?
All of us who are on a time crunch. You have all the amazing flavors of everything you love MINUS the time put in since the bread (naan) is already cooked. All that needs to be done is protein prep and when this goes into the oven you’re just waiting for the cheese to melt. It is so delicious.
These pizza naan are also amazing for hosting. All you have to do is cut into smaller pieces for appetizer bites and fill up an entire party board. Time to host away and wow your guests!

TANDOORI CHICKEN PIZZA NAAN
Ingredients
CHICKEN
- 6 pc chicken tenderloin cubed small
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1/2 lemon juiced
- 1 tbsp garam masala
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
CHUTNEY
- 1/2 bunch cilantro
- 1/2 jalapeño seeded for no spice
- 6 mint leaves
- salt sprinkle for taste
- 1/3 cup plain greek yogurt for inside the mix
- 1/3 cup plain greek yogurt to add after blended
OTHER
- shredded mozzarella for pizza
- fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Pre heat oven to 400
CHICKEN
- Place cubed chicken and all its spices into a mixing bowl and mix well
- Add 2 tbsp oil into a hot pan
- cook chicken through and set aside
CHUTNEY
- combine all ingredients into a processor/blender (except the additional 1/3 cup greek yogurt)
- once its all blended, pour into a bowl and combine the remainder 1/3 cup yogurt-this is to thicken up the sauce
ASSEMBLE
- Lay out pizza naan onto baking tray
- top with shredded mozzarella cheese
- spread as much as the chutney as you'd like
- top with chicken
- add a few more drops of the chutney
- bake for 8-10 minutes just until the cheese has melted. don't let the bread. get too crispy
- top with fresh cilantro
