pros and cons for each brands pots + pans set
OURPLACE vs. CARAWAY
Both sets of pots + pans by OURPLACE and by CARAWAY are amazing. But with anything comes both pros and cons. Here is my review on both.
OURPLACE– the color options on these are so stunning. Fit for any personality, style, or a need for a pop of fun. They’re a matte color finish so even the neutrals are a beauty on its own. One pot and one pan is supposed to be all you need in your kitchen. I guess this depends on the type of cook you are. For example, the pan comes with a steamer option, a fry deck, and a flipping platter. The pot comes with a roasting rack, a built in pour spout, and a nesting spoon- it also serves as a dutch oven pot. So yes, they work in many ways.
- Pros: color options, multi functional, light weight, non stick, non toxic.
- Cons: need to be cleaned properly or they can chip or stain. never cook on high heat (pan) or run in the dishwasher in order to maintain its non stick coating
CARAWAY- a handful of color options, cream being my favorite. This one focuses on a 4 pc cookware set with magnetic dividers and an over the cabinet lid holder. They’ve truly thought about it all when it comes to storage space. The pot is an average size for every household, the sauce pan is a great deep size for larger portions, regular pan and smaller pot with handle is an average size. The size options are more flexible for those with more needs in the kitchen.
- Pros: color options, size options, organizing accessories, non stick, non toxic.
- Cons: need to be cleaned immediately, use gentle sponges or can scratch color off. never cook with pans on high heat or run in dishwasher or they’ll stain faster and lose its non stick coating.
OVERALL– if both are cleaned properly with the correct cleaning products and you follow directions on care instructions- both of these sets should last you quite a while. All while looking stunning in the kitchen. It just comes down to- can you maintain them? I know I can, or more so I WANT to.
